Just waiting on the electrician to wire up for the dishwasherI couldn't be happier.
This little cottage was uninhabitable a few months ago!

Todays lucky find

I have been thinking of a picnic set for about six months after seeing one in an antique store.

This tired little beauty was at City Mission today for $25.00

I will restore it and add a thermos and cutlery.  It will travel with me in my little French car.

A little piece of Paris at my place

In 2009 I collected these cute little yoghurt pots from our Hotel in Paris.  I couldn't bear to see them thrown out, so we washed them and stuffed them with socks and carried them home.
They make me smile and think of beautiful Paris.
Funny how some things worthless can mean so much.  To me these are priceless.

Shack renovations

The new sink is in and won't be long before we can use our new kitchen.
We have been washing up in a bowl for months!
This little shack is such a sunny place.
We found out this week the name Elonera which we have kept is Aboriginal and means place of happy children.

Back into sewing

Thanks to all those bloggers who have inspired me to drag out my sewing machine!
I'm busy making drapes for the shack. I'm using up a roll of fabric I've had for many years, double lining them. I think they will hang very nicely.  The walls are chalky white so should look beachy.  As it's been a while I've decided to do a little each day  I'm up to the hems on bedroom one!.

Tickets to the Glover opening

This is my favourite night of the year!!
All the paintings there are for purchase and red dots go up very quickly.
This is Australias richest landscape prize.
I'm going to enter next year!!
It would be such a buzz to be accepted.
Our friend is in it this year!!  I wonder what type of painting will win.

Tea for Two

These lovely tea cups belonged to my Mothers Aunts in England.  I love them.  The tea cosy is by creativeKate from Creative world.  What is your favourite tea? Mine is definitely French Earl Grey.

Special memories

These beautiful books belonged to my late sister Jen.
The apron is made by Quiltjude from my sister Jens stash.
Jen will be with me when I read and cook from these books all wrapped up in my apron.
I'm grateful to her family and Jude for these gifts, I will treasure them.
I visited Maggies farm shop last year, it was the highlight of my S.A. visit.
So it's a very special gift indeed.
